Thank you for your participation! Our Pet of the Month Contest is now over.
You know your pet is the best pet on earth — isn’t it time the rest of the world knew it too? Bloom Magazine‘s Pet of the Month contest gives you and your pet the chance to compete for fame and fortune. (In this case, fame and fortune means appearing on magbloom.com and in Bloom Magazine.) So start snapping photos and recruiting friends to vote for Fido, Spot, or Mittens — your pet deserves to be a star!

THE RULES
How do we enter?
Email a photo of your pet to [email protected]. The photo should be of the pet only — no humans allowed, please. Have your pet answer a short series of questions and then keep your fingers crossed.
What do we win?
The pet that wins each month’s contest will have its photo featured on the Bloom Magazine website during the following month (i.e., the January winner will appear on the website during February) and in an issue of Bloom Magazine.
Who is eligible?
Any pet is eligible — cats, dogs, birds, snakes — if it’s your pet, it can compete. As for the humans, any Bloom reader anywhere can enter a pet. If you have won first place in any previous month’s contest, you are not eligible to win again. Deceased pets are not eligible to win.
Deadlines
Voting for the Pet of the Month will begin on the first day of the month and end at 5 p.m. on the last day of the month.
How is the winner chosen?
Voters will choose their favorite pet by “Liking” a photo in each month’s Facebook album. The pet that receives the most “Likes” by the deadline will be crowned as the Pet of the Month. Once the winner is chosen, Bloom Magazine will contact the pet’s owner with the good news and schedule a photographer to do a photo shoot with the pet. Winners located outside of Monroe County will not be eligible for the photo shoot, and will be required to provide a high-resolution photo in order to appear in Bloom Magazine.
