Kevin Kline is one of the most famous and respected actors to graduate from Indiana University. Soon, he’ll add a honorary doctorate from IU to his resume when he returns to Bloomington this fall to receive that degree at a ceremony at the IU Auditorium, where he also will participate in a public interview to launch the Jorgensen Guest Filmmaker Lecture.
The Tony and Academy Award winner will speak at 2 p.m. Sept. 15. The event is free and open to the public but tickets will be required for admission. They will be available beginning Aug. 26 at the IU Auditorium box office. Kline also is expected to attend a screening of the film, A Fish Called Wanda, at the IU Cinema, and teach a master class for theater students.
