Take a look at the performances and fun from the 23rd Lotus World Music & Arts Festival, which took place September 15–18.
On Saturday night, the popular Swedish swing/hip-hop group Movits! drew a crowd that filled the Pictura/Old National Bank tent on 6th Street before the band even took the stage. Another well-received attraction was Lotus’ second annual Food Truck Village, which had local chef David Tallent as guest curator. On the sidewalks surrounding the downtown Square, buskers came to make music of their own, street magicians performed shows for passersby, and drum circles gathered to share a beat.
The photo gallery below showcases the many facets of celebration that began in the day and continued on into the night.
