Sycamore Land Trust (SLT) will offer two seminars focusing on proper chainsaw use and tree felling. The first session will be held indoors and focus on proper chainsaw use and safety, while the second session will include discussions and demonstrations of more advanced chainsaw techniques in the field. Sessions will be led by seasoned arborist and SLT board member Mark Adams. Adams has been involved with arboriculture for over 20 years, and is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. He has served as a member of the Bloomington Tree Commission, the Tree Advisory Board to Purdue University, and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Arborist Association. An expert in advanced climbing, technical rigging, and tree risk assessment, Adams has conducted workshops and seminars across the country.
