Spirit, Love Healing Power: Renée Stout

Audrey McCluskey, Professor of African American and African Diaspora Studies, will discuss the narrative and visual qualities in Stout’s photographic work, which evoke the spirit of Erzulie (the Haitian goddess of love) through the artist’s body.
This program is presented in conjunction with IU 2013 Black History Month.
