Free Birthday Party: Camping on Venus

A public art troupe based in Bloomington called Cloud Preaser (www.cloudpreaser.com click on the cloud) has just transformed an old bank in downtown Bloomington into the greatest funhouse of art you’ve ever seen. With over 500 balloons, 1250 lbs. of sand, 1000 feet of reflective mylar, an 8 person tent, a 1000 lbs. bank vault door, and a 20 ft. tall inflatable dancing man, we’ve created an alternate reality that will change the way you look at your city in five minutes.

This project is being held at The Headquarters Gallery, a traveling art gallery that has street level entrance at the SE corner of Kirkwood Ave. and College Ave. right across the street from Chase Bank. The address is 101 W. Kirkwood Ave. Suite 001. Gallery Hours are 3pm-10pm

There will be a Closing Reception for the show this Saturday, May 24th starting at 7pm and going until midnight.
