Bloomington Restorations, Inc. invites you to a special Musical Holiday Open House at the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead on the second Saturday this month. Decorated in Christmas finery, the main house will host the musical duo, “Striking Pair,” comprised of Mary Ann Williams and Richard Torstrick. Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the couple will play a collection of instruments including violin, hammered dulcimer, guitar, and bowed psaltry. Voice accompaniment and the opportunity for holiday sing-along will join the instruments. The public is invited to spend time enjoying the music, as well as tour the home and take in the current exhibit. A collection of seasonal jams, jellies and preserves and the last of this year’s maple syrup will be for sale, perfect for gift giving. Refreshments will also be served. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and maintained by Bloomington Restorations, Inc.

Cost: Free
