Bloomington Songwriter Showcase presents the original songs of Keith Hughes – first time on the Showcase for Keith who is visiting us from Lafayette IN. Keith has spent a great deal of time studying the logistics of the craft of Songwriting – he takes it seriously and his Nashville Sound music is easy to listen to. Bill Headley is one of the original Singer-Songwriters who helped get the ball rolling when the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase took flight almost 8 years ago. Voice as velvety as Elvis, Headley performs on keyboard as well as guitar as he accompanies himself when presenting some VERY good songs. His style is diverse – ranging from Alternative to Country and Bill is always a crowd pleasing Singer-Songwriter. Brandon Pfeiffer can only be described as an upcoming star. This young man has one of the most beautiful voices we’ve had the pleasure of hearing and his songs are BIG. It is not unusual for Brandon Pfeiffer to steal the showcase. He is a natural performer, and the Audience can’t help but be caught up in his performances. Cat (Cathy) Freeman Gutjahr is a spunky lady with a lot of energy which she downloads into her music. It doesn’t take a genius to see how much Cat enjoys performing and she can often be found doing just that around Bloomington and surrounding areas. Her songs are upbeat, and her audience enjoy her as much as she enjoys them.
