U.S. Dept. of Justice, Grande Lum, to Visit Bloomington

Community Justice & Mediation Center (CJAM), in partnership with Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) has arranged a visit to Bloomington by Grande Lum. He is Director of the Community Relations Service “America’s Peacemaker” at the U.S. Department of Justice. The visit will include two public events on Thursday, October 1, 2015: one sponsored by SPEA at the University which will focus on conflicts in community relations nationally, and one for the community co-sponsored by CJAM and the Monroe County Public Library, to be held in the MCPL auditorium at 7:30pm with support from the City of Bloomington, Monroe County and the Town of Ellettsville. The community theme is Healthy Cities/Healthy Communities: promoting a peaceful and just community in Monroe County.
