Bloomington Restorations, Inc. invites you to the monthly Museum Open Day at the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead on Saturday, July 25, from 1-4 p.m. Friday Musicale members, Jennifer Mickel and Mark Wiedenmayer, will entertain visitors in the formal parlor. They will sing and play a variety of popular tunes from 1910s through the 1940s during the time Daisy Hinkle Garton lived in the main house. Jennifer has sung in several IU productions over the past 30 years, and Mark can be found playing at many area care facilities through his Music Ministry Volunteers Outreach program. Pure maple syrup and jellies produced on site by volunteers will be available for purchase. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and maintained by Bloomington Restorations, Inc. It is free and open to the public and is located at 2920 E.
