Sound and Chaos: The Story of BC Studio will be screened at the IU Cinema as part of Bloomington’s annual Wounded Galaxies Festival of Experimental Media. The documentary looks at the previously unexplored story of Brooklyn’s BC Studios, where Martin Bisi worked with musicians like Herbie Hancock, John Zorn, Sonic Youth, and the Dresden Dolls. Panel following screening: BC Studio co-founder Martin Bisi, directors Ryan Douglass and Sara Leavitt. Support provided by IU’s Ethnomusicology Institute
