Growing, Drying and Cook with Herbs Workshop at Hinkle-Garton Farmstead

Bloomington Restorations, Inc., invites you to a workshop at its Hinkle-Garton Farmstead entitled “Growing, Drying and Cooking with Herbs” offered on Saturday, September 19, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Come discover how to use dry and fresh herbs in tasty dishes. Learn how easy they are to grow (even for those living in an apartment!) and how to dry them for winter use. Enjoy a sampling of fresh herbs with goat cheese, a fresh salad with herbs, and basil and pineapple-sage jellies. Everyone will have the opportunity to take home fresh and dried herbs from the Farmstead garden. The workshop will be taught by Kris Heeter. The cost is $15 and pre-registration is required by September 18. Space is limited. For more information or to register, email [email protected] or call 812-325-9428.

Cost: $15
