On Tuesday, July 12th, beginning at 5:30p.m., The Venue will host a presentation by Dr. Kathy Schick, and Dr. Nicholas Toth, co-directors of The Stone Age Institute.
Located five miles north of Bloomington, the Stone Age Institute has 30 acres of land and an 11,400 square foot facility, all dedicated to Stone Age and Human Origins research. A not-for-profit venture, the Institute is a world leader in Palaeolithic Archaeology, with a current research focus on Tanzania and China. With several important discoveries, and the recent receipt of a 3.2 million dollar grant, The Stone Age Institute will remain a dynamic, cutting edge archaeological exploration and research venue.
In their presentation, Kathy and Nick will review some of their past research focuses and insights, and bring us up to date on their most current areas of investigation. This is an opportunity that you should not miss. Space is limited so come early for a good seat.
