Gallery of the Art of the Western World, Steinmetz Kellett Gallery, first floor

Nan Brewer, Lucienne M. Glaubinger Curator of Works on Paper, will discuss noted Indiana Impressionist T.C. Steele’s training at the Royal Academy in Munich and plein air study with American expatriate J. Frank Currier. Presented in conjunction with the T.C. Steele State Historic Site as part of the series T.C. Steele’s Bloomington. This activity is a signature project of the Indiana Bicentennial Commission, and is made possible, in part, with support from the Indiana Arts Commission.
