Caving: Discovering Untouched Spaces in Nature, Bill Baus at The Venue

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts
http://www.thevenuebloomington.com

On Tuesday, March 28th, The Venue will present longtime Bloomington resident and caver, Bill Baus, at 5:30 p.m.
Baus began caving in 1976 and will give a presentation on the background and techniques of caving. Some of his favorite places he will cover are Lechuguilla Cave in New Mexico and Whistling Cave at Spring Mill State Park here in Indiana. Baus will dispel myths on the dangers of caving and share his passion and expertise with experienced cavers and newcomers alike.
Refreshments will be served and The Venue’s fine selection of paintings, jewelry, ceramics, and artistic gifts will also be on display for purchase.
