05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts

On Tuesday eve, July 25th, beginning at 5:30p.m. The Venue will host a presentation by Rabbi Brian Besser of Synagogue Beth Shalom in Bloomington, entitled A Peripatetic Rabbi. Rabbi Besser will share some of his lifetime best hiking experiences, and will discuss hiking preparation, technique, and equipment that will allow one to graduate from causal walking to hiking.
Rabbi Besser will also share some of the opportunities in hiking for spiritual enlightenment and philosophical growth. It is more than mere coincidence that Aristotle founded The Peripatetic School of Philosophy.
