The IU Swing Dance Club invites you to a dance event featuring a live band!

Joe Smith and the Spicy Pickles is a Jazz/Swing/Blues septet out of Denver that specializes in 1930s and 1940s music. They are touring the Midwest this fall with a new album.

The band tours nationally, playing 100+ shows a year, has opened for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Davina and the Vagabonds, played many notable festivals, and won first place at the Seattle Jazz Dance Film Festival in 2014. The music has been featured in commercials as well as the Cannes Film Fest Best Screenplay 2017 major motion picture directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
