HOMECOMING – From Bloomington to Berlin and Back
The USA International Harp Competition is honored to present Florence Sitruk in a benefit concert at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Recital Hall, 1201 E. 3rd St., November 2, 2017 at 8:30 P.M.
This benefit concert will present Ms. Sitruk in a program of intriguing repertoire, including works by beloved composers C.P.E. Bach, Mozart, Roussel, Parish-Alvars, and Scarlatti. In addition, she will perform two American premieres of works by GyörgyKurtág and Viktoria Kaunzner. The concert will conclude with a very special performance of Claude Debussy’s Danse sacrée et danse profane with IU’s Quartet-in-Residence, Pacifica Quartet.
This concert is a benefit for the USA International Harp Competition. Suggested donations of $20/adult and $10/student will be accepted at the door. A reception with the artist will immediately follow the concert.
Parking can be found on the IU campus at the Jordan Parking Garage (150 N. Jordan Avenue, Bloomington, IN 47408) and the Atwater Parking Garage (921 E. Atwater Avenue, Bloomington, IN 47401). Rates may apply.
