Friday Night Lecture: “The Power of Buddhist Logic”

07:00 pm to 08:15 pm
Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington, 406 S. Walnut St.
http://www.meditationinbloomington.org

“The Power of Buddhist Logic” will be hosted by Kelsang Namdrol, American Buddhist nun and resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington on Friday, March 9, from 7–8:15 p.m.

In this lecture, Kelsang Namdrol will explain how Buddhists use logic and reason to develop confidence in practicing Buddha’s teachings. Buddha taught not to just blindly believe what he said, but to test it out for ourselves and then draw a conclusion. In this way, our conviction in the teachings of love, compassion, and wisdom are strong, and therefore make our spiritual practice deep and meaningful. Everyone is welcome!

Cost: $10; student rate: $5
