Putty Live Art Talk Show

07:00 pm to 09:00 pm
Hopscotch Coffee B-Line Cafe, 235 W. Dodds St.

Hopscotch Coffee is pleased to present Indianapolis-based live art talk show Putty at our B-Line cafe on Saturday, October 6th for an evening of televised cultural enlightenment. All are invited to be part of the studio audience for this unique spectacle as Putty Hopscotch illuminates the motivations and methods of the Bloomington creative community.

In this first installment of a 3-show series, host Erin K Drew will welcome painter Peter Shear, collaborative mixed media artists Rachel De Cuba and Matthew Batty, and musical guest TBA.

Putty is part documentary project, part party—a playhouse and public art piece which appropriates and distorts the talk show format. Originally presented at Indy’s State Street Pub, Putty Hopscotch aspires to strike a balance between entertainment and education, in an environment naturally attuned to studying and socializing—a lecture hall with zero credit hours but way better furniture. Over the course of three episodes, host Erin K Drew, a former Bloomington resident, will conduct long-form interviews with some of the emerging talents and creative magnates who have helped make Bloomington a luminary destination for DIY culture for the last two decades of her life.

Cost: Free, $5 suggested donation
