Featuring authentic Italian cuisine prepared and served by students under the expert direction of Executive Chef David Tallent, enjoy a fabulous three-course meal in the historic Tudor Room in the IMU on Wednesday evening, April 17. Served with or without optional, specially selected wine pairings, vegetarian options will be available for each course. The full menu can be found at go.iu.edu/Taste-of-Italy. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are required. The cost is $35 per person or $55 per person with wine pairings. The registration deadline is Wednesday April 10.
This event is a the result of a unique collaboration between IU Dining, IU Catering, and Professor Brandon Howell’s Food and Beverage Class (SPH T302). The experience allows students to transfer classroom learning to a working environment where they encounter the operational and organizational constraints of a large food service operation. Throughout this project, students have worked alongside managers, chefs, nutritionists, and marketers to present this very special evening.
Parking is available in the IMU lot. Bring your ticket to the dinner for validation to receive half-off parking fees.
Cost: $35 per person, or $55 per person with optional wine pairings
