O’Child Children’s Boutique and EllieMae’s Boutique are joining forces to put on what they hope will become an annual event: a Spring Fashion Show and Tea Party.
The April 28 fundraiser for Girls, Inc. of Monroe County will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fountain Square Mall Ballroom.
The show is the combined effort of several downtown businesses. O’Child is organizing the fashion show while EllieMae’s is arranging a tea party and etiquette class. Richardson Studio will provide professional photography, and models will have their hair styled by designers from Elan Salon.
Hyun Kwon, owner of O’Child, says organizers are looking for additional sponsors for the event, as well as more child models who wear clothing in sizes from infant up to 14. Models receive a discount for the fashion show, but spots are limited. Kwon recommends those interested contact O’Child or EllieMae’s as soon as possible.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased by calling O’Child at 812-334-9005 or ElliMae’s at 812-339-8084. The event is free for children under 2.
