You’re hard-pressed to walk a block in Bloomington without catching a glimpse of someone wearing something with the Indiana University logo on their person.
From die-hard sports fans to casually proud alumni, students, and faculty, Hoosiers are not shy about flying their crimson-and-cream colors or sporting IU’s iconic, more-than-a-century-old, interlock logo.
T.I.S College Bookstore, located on 3rd Street near Jordan Avenue, along with The Indiana Shop on East Kirkwood and inside College Mall, are reliable sources of IU-licensed apparel.
While the bread and butter of all three stores is comfortable, casual-sports-fan spirit wear—T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and candy-striped pants—they also carry gifts for low-key to diehard fans. Baby pacifiers, bow ties, Indiana-emblazoned blazers, jewelry, shot glasses, coffee mugs, dress shirts, and socks are among the many items available.
“It’s apparel and gifts, for infants to adults,” says Stacey Isom, marketing manager of T.I.S. Group. “We cover any age group, any IU fan.”
