Ground ‘Dog’ Day Book Launch

01:00 pm to 03:00 pm
BloomingTea
http://www.btowntea.com

On Sunday, Feb 2, Ground ‘Dog’ Day, BloomingTea will host the launch of a new pet memoir by Bloomington writer and Bloom contributor Lee Ann Sandweiss.

Of “‘Lock Ness! And Other Tales of Nessie the Scottie” (BookLocker 2019) writer and former IU creative writing professor Alyce Miller wrote: “For anyone who has ever loved and been loved by a dog, this intimate story of companion Nessie and her adventures will ring true. Sandweiss offers up a generous portrait of her mischievous and endearing best friend, as well as the resounding effects of the eventual embodied loss we all must reckon with.”

Please come for tea, cookies, and conversation. Books will be available for sale and signing; sales benefit the St. Louis Scottish Terrier Rescue (STLSTR), a non-profit that finds forever homes for Scotties and other terriers throughout the Midwest.

Cost: Free
