The Chocolate Moose has an unusual item on its menu this February: chili.
During United Way of Monroe County’s inaugural Chilly Cook-Off, Neville Vaughan, a battalion chief with the Bloomington Fire Department, took home the People’s Choice award for his “Chile De Bomberos” chili. Although the event was a fundraiser for United Way, Vaughan won a prize in addition to his People’s Choice award—the chance to have his chili featured on the Chocolate Moose menu.
Vaughan’s chili will be available at the Chocolate Moose through the end of February.
