TWEEN Yoga:
Ages 11-14
Welcome Yoga for the in be-TWEENS. We are offering yoga for tweens ages 11-14. These classes are aimed to energize and empower a student’s body and mind through movement. Practicing yoga at a young age supports healthy physical growth, improves body awareness and focus, builds community, and helps resolve intra/interpersonal tension. Come and join us for a fun, interactive experience that leaves a student feeling grounded, calm, and connected with their peers. Studies show that participation in a yoga practice is extremely beneficial for adolescents in helping to improve their mental wellness and attention, increase overall enjoyment in their day to day, and reduce anxiety. A physical yoga practices has beneficial and lasting effects during these formative years.
This is a perfect starting place for tweens looking to jump into yoga for the first time as well as for those who already practice and want to gain a deeper knowledge of the physical poses.
