https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUrcuGspjgrGdbEZtJL-Fnt0Q3tK_L7rdF4

Join us for a reading of Thunder Boy Jr. by Sherman Alexie with illustrations by Yuyi Morales. After the story, in which a boy named after his dad thinks about sharing a name with his dad and how he can make himself known in his own way. Our experiment will celebrate what father and son come up with together – lightning. We will explore static electricity and make lightning. Science Story Time allows young scientists to develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the program. Activities designed for ages 3-6. All welcome. Materials are not necessary, but feel free to have a balloon and a metal spoon on hand.

Cost: Free
