First Friday Evening Science of Art: Smile! Cameras

Watch and talk with photographer Michael Finger as he demonstrates how to develop paper prints from negatives using traditional chemical processes. Watch and talk with photographer James Kellar as he demonstrates how computer software is used to enhance digital photos. Related hands-on activities include making a mini pinhole viewer, creating sun prints, and using computer software to alter a raw digital photo before printing it. A small plate dinner of a turkey or cheese wrap, with a serving of crisp baby carrots and half a banana, prepared by Bloomingfoods Deli will be available to purchase ($2.50) on site in the WonderLab cafe.
