Featuring modern paintings and sculptures collected by the IU Art Museum’s founding director, Henry Radford Hope, this installation is presented in conjunction with this fall’s special exhibition Pioneers and Exiles: German Expressionism at the IU Art Museum (opening October 6). It draws attention to Hope’s role in collecting and exhibiting modern art at IU in the 1940s and 1950s.
