The Beiträge, written in the years leading up to World War II but not published until more than a decade after Heidegger’s death, presents us with an enigmatic perspective on Heidegger’s thinking about history, technics, poetry, and existence. Speakers include William McNeill (DePaul University), Krzysztof Ziarek (SUNY-Buffalo), Richard Polt (Xavier University), Dana Belu (California State University), Alberto Moreiras (Texas A&M University), and Andrew Mitchell (Emory University).

These exhibitions feature work created by graduating Master of Fine Arts students in the School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University and represent the culmination of each student’s graduate research in the arts. Each exhibition features student work from a variety of studio areas: ceramics, digital art, graphic design, metalsmithing and jewelry design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. MFA students also give gallery talks about their work the first Friday of their thesis exhibition.

MFA 2 features the work of Jana Anderson (Painting), Su A Chae (Painting), Kate Houlnè (Photography), Gabriel Mo (Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design), Catherine Mulligan (Painting), Skyler Pham (Printmaking), Joann Quiñones (Textiles), Erin Ryan (Ceramics), and Kelly Webeck (Photography).

From the smallest mosquito to the largest whale, the animal kingdom sings to us every day. Janiece Jaffe will demonstrate sound meditations using crystals, Tibetan bowls, and her voice.
