Story Church April Gathering: Roots and Shoots

07:30 pm to 09:00 pm
First Presbyterian Church 221 E. 6th St.

Join us as the story continues! This month we are exploring the theme, “Roots and Shoots”. The service will be led by Paster Mihee Kim-Kort with the music of Susan Anderson and friends. Storytellers: Owen Walters, Devin Blankenship, and Mihee Kim-Kort.

What to expect:

The stories will be told in a similar way as The Moth (www.themoth.com/podcast). No manuscript, single mic, real and raw.

The gathering is completely open to anyone and everyone, whatever your faith or religion, gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, ability, generation, and economic status. You are invited because of who you are, never in spite of.

It’s Christian. There will be communion, singing, praying, listening, and some interaction, but how much you want to participate is totally up to you. You don’t have to be Christian or profess the Christian faith to be a participant. Our Christianity informs our desire to create a space for all stories.
