Shop for holiday gifts from over 25 local artists and makers, plus lots of hands-on holiday activities for kids, and pictures with Santa!

Come to our drop in workshop and make your own fused glass magnet or suncatcher. This family friendly workshop is an opportunity for anyone ages 5 and above to try glass making “on the spot” in 15 minutes or less.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Glass-fusing is a fun creative process that involves collaging smaller bits of glass onto a larger glass surface. Your piece will be fired in a kiln and will be available for pick it up by December 18. The cost for fusing is $15 for a small piece, and $25 for a roughly 4″ x 3″ square.

Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome! We will take reservations every 15 minutes from 1:00 until 4:30.

During the second weekend of December join WonderLab and Silly Safaris for Science LIVE: Reindeer Reserve. Silly Safari’s animal educators will be at the museum to introduce visitors to live reindeer and other Arctic Animals. There are four chances to see the show and meet the reindeer: Saturday, December 14 at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. or Sunday, December 15 at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at the front desk on the day of each show. Tickets will be sold on a first come basis. Quantities are limited. Silly Safaris is an animal conservation and education organization from South Central Indiana.

Curtis Cantwell Jackson is a native of Trinidad and lived in New York City until moving to Bloomington in 2002. Since then, he has touched thousands of people in southern Indiana through his beautiful music, his big heart, and infectious smile. Curtis teaches music classes, performs many genres from “jazzy pop” to reggae to soul and gospel. For this special afternoon, he will share a variety of Christmas and holiday songs of the season. Please join us!

The annual Wylie by Candlelight Open House welcomes guests for a free evening of music, refreshments, and crafts. Staff and volunteers in period attire welcome you into the historic home lit by candlelight. Enjoy music by Bloomington High School North choral ensemble, professional Dickens carolers, Jacobs School of Music classical guitarists, and the Horseshoe Bend String Band. Doors open at 4pm; neighborhood parking available on Saturdays (permits not needed).

The museum open house runs parallel to Monroe County History Center’s Log Cabin Christmas. We hope you will take advantage of both historic celebrations!

This isn’t your usual holiday movie fest! Join the Quarryland Men’s Chorus in reliving your favorite moments of holiday film while we sing along! Your favorites and some surprises are in store. White Christmas, anyone? How about The Nightmare Before Christmas?

Venue doors open 30 mins in advance and this event is expected to last two hours. If this event is not sold out, tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. Cash, check, or charge will be accepted as payment. A limited number of $10 balcony seats will be available for purchase at the door the day of each concert. Folks with other abilities may also choose to sit in the back row of the venue in lieu of taking the stairs into the balcony.

Where to find your Will-Call: Will-Call will be located at the BCT Box Office (114 E Kirkwood Avenue) until 4pm on December 14th. Any tickets not picked up at the BCT Box Office prior to 4pm on December 14th will be transferred to the performance venue, and Will-Call will reopen at the venue 30 minutes prior to each performance.
