Tri Kappa Comes Home
An exhibit of Guild artist-member paintings from the Tri Kappa fine art collection
February 1 – 24, 2019
Brown County Art Guild
Nashville, Indiana

Tri Kappa Comes Home – Enjoy this rare opportunity to see selected works of the Brown County Art Guild’s past member artists. On loan from the Tri Kappa Fine Arts Collection – an award-winning art collection of Indiana artists – housed at the John Logan Memorial Library of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The exhibit, Tri Kappa Comes Home, highlights exquisite and rare paintings from the Guild’s own celebrated member artists of the 20th century. Works from the likes of C. Curry Bohm, Harry Davis, L.O. Griffith, Ruth K. Hibbs, Georges LaChance, Gordon Mess, Frederick Rigley and more.

Tri-Kappa began collecting the works in 1932 and displayed them each year at the Brown County Art Guild until the growing collection exceeded the space available. Tri Kappa voted in 1973 to move the paintings to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology where they would be hung permanently in the John A. Logan Library.

Brown County Art Guild – A not for profit organization located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Indiana.
