WonderLab STEM Sundays for Families – Water Cycle

03:00 pm to 03:30 pm
Virtual Event (Zoom)
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJErcOGuqzIvG9f3Mc9rGR9Gz26wr4C0G6YZ

Join us for STEM Sundays and work together on a project for the whole family! This week we will be learning about the water cycle. We will look at a couple of experiments you can do at home to learn more about the water cycle and precipitation. We will also try a STEM challenge to create a method for getting water to a place with little precipitation. Some materials needed for the experiment include a cup, shaving cream, food coloring, water, and a resealable bag. For the STEM challenge you can use a variety of materials including plastic cups, straws, cardboard, tape, and more! No matter what you have at home, there’s something you can make for the challenge. This is a great opportunity for the whole family or group to explore the engineering design process as well as develop STEM skills such as defining & problem solving, exploring cause & effect, and the collaborative process. This program is made possible through funding from Cook Medical. and CFC Properties.

NOTE: Our STEM Sunday sessions are moving to a 30 minute program for the month of February, instead of an hour long program.
