Juniper Art Gallery is thrilled to welcome Kativar for a very special Art & Music Series event that will take us back to early Spain! Kativar is a trio consisting of Dena El Saffar, Tomás Lozano and Tim Moore. They perform the music of Sephardic Spain. Their instruments include guitar, hurdy-gurdy, viola, oud, and several others that create beautiful and unique sounds. Their centuries-old repertoire is brought to life with singing and captivating arrangements that reflect the influences of Spain and the Middle East.

“Kativar” a Ladino word meaning “to captivate.” This is an Owen County musical opportunity not to be missed!

Quincy (Omar Epps) and Monica (Sanaa Lathan) are childhood friends who aspire to be professional basketball players.
