Join museum educators for our monthly coding program, CoderDojo. This program is geared toward ages 7-17, no coding experience needed! This month we will be looking at some of the extension features of Scratch including the Video Sensing tool! We will learn how to create a program that makes a sprite respond to your movement. CoderDojo is a great opportunity to build coding skills and learn about features in online coding tools, such as Scratch.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order for video sensing to work in Scratch, you need to have a camera on your device. You do not need to turn your camera on for Zoom (if you wish to keep it off), but you will need to give Scratch permission to use your webcam/built in camera on your device.
