JKS Septet CD Release

The JKS septet is comprised of students and recent graduates of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. This group is dedicated to writing and performing creative, original jazz compositions, combining varied influences in search of a unique sound. JKS recently received an award from Downbeat Magazine Student Music Awards and has been invited to perform at the 7th Annual Jazz Education Network conference in January 2016. The group has also completed their first studio album, to be released in January.
