WonderLab STEM Sundays for Families – Driverless Car

03:00 pm to 03:30 pm
Virtual Event (Zoom)
https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJAkc-mqqzkuGNLKG1kNFjmqYVN90i9ZGFsU

Join WonderLab educators for STEM Sunday and work together on a project for the whole family. This STEM Sunday is the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Apollo 14 mission. We will learn about this mission, as well as look at how rockets work. We will use items around our home to create rockets and also learn about the moon’s surface. Here are some of the suggested supplies to gather from your house (no problem if you don’t have some of these): string, balloon, tape, straw, paper, baking soda/vinegar, small canister with lid (candy container, film canister, etc). This is a great opportunity for the whole family or group to explore the engineering design process as well as develop STEM skills such as defining & problem solving, exploring cause & effect, and the collaborative process. This program is made possible through funding from Cook Medical. and CFC Properties.
