The Hoosierman Triathlon is a sprint triathlon in southern Bloomington. The event takes place at Fairfax State Recreational Area. The swim is in Lake Monroe, the bike course explores Bloomington’s country roads, and the run course takes place entirely within the recreational area. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and duties vary greatly from helping to set up the race site, directing participants along the course, running the post race party, helping to clean up, and many more. Volunteers are an integral part of the race and your service will be greatly appreciated by everyone participating. Everyone who volunteers will receive a free event tshirt, breakfast, lunch, and a personal thank you from just about every participant.
