Join WonderLab educators for STEM Sunday and work together on a project for the whole family. During this STEM Sunday, we will use a gravity well to model gravitational attraction in space and explore orbiting objects. We will show you some versions you can make at home. Some suggested materials include an embroidery hoop with a stretchy fabric or a pie plate, and small balls and marbles of different weight and size. This is a great opportunity for the whole family or group to explore the engineering design process as well as develop STEM skills such as defining & problem solving, exploring cause & effect, and the collaborative process.
