Imitation to Chapbook Creation

06:00 pm to 08:00 pm
https://v2.aitapps-s.iu.edu/AIT_INlighten_V1_Online/blvpue/Course/Index/940-F5496473-B1E1-4A82-A7EB%20

In this course, we each will select a mentor text for individual study. Think of a poetry collection that you’ve wanted to read for a while but haven’t gotten around to or perhaps one you’ve read over and over and it’s time to read it again.

We’ll examine craft closely, write three poems that imitate those in our mentor texts, and write three original poems. At the end of the course, we each will bind our six poems into a mini-chapbook.
