The Grunwald Gallery at Indiana University Bloomington is pleased to present this year’s BFA Thesis Exhibition. This exhibition features work created by graduating Bachelors of Fine Arts students in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University.

The exhibition will feature the work of Ollie Caldwell (Graphic Design), Vanessa Fehrenbach (Painting), Carly Graham (Graphic Design), Katie Hardlannert (Graphic Design), Olivia Kalish (Painting), Sarah Keesling (Graphic Design), Chris Keske (Digital Arts), Shannon Pritchard (Painting), Katina Tsarnas (Graphic Design) and Megan Wright (Graphic Design).

New and beginning in March 2020: Animal Hour. This recurring weekly program encourages visitors to meet the WonderLab Animal Ambassadors in live, facilitated interactions. Who might you meet this week? Come and see! Maybe a bearded dragon or Mooch, the blue tongued skink. Possibly you’ll have a chance to pet a Madagascar hissing cockroach or corn snake. Visitors will be able to get up close and ask questions. Weekly topics will rotate and might include: the biology, behavior and natural homes of each Ambassadors; how WonderLab cares for each animal as well as their unique background stories.

Do you know the styles you like, but feel overwhelmed by all the choices in furnishings and accessories out there? Do you wish you had more confidence in pulling a “look” together? Becky Gavin of Gavin Design will guide you through the process of choosing furnishings for your living or bedroom space and reusing existing items you love. Whether your space is large or small, she will also show how to build a room to create a cohesive, coordinated look.

Our freshly updated GRE Prep course combines problem-solving and time-management strategies for the most widely accepted graduate school entrance exam. Working extensively from official materials, we’ll also cover vocabulary study tips along with a fast-paced review of math fundamentals. Learn to think like the test makers, identify strengths and weaknesses, and build a personal, practical study plan to carry you through to test day.

¡Bienvenidos! Join us for an introductory level course in the Spanish language. Learn correct pronunciation, vocabulary, and present tense grammar necessary for basic conversation. No previous knowledge of Spanish is required. Take this as an entry-level course to get your feet wet in the Spanish language, or use it to brush up the basic Spanish skills that you studied long ago. A few minutes of each session will be dedicated to Spanish language poetry and music.

Come enjoy a drumming workshop from Malawi-based performance artist Masankho Banda. Banda brings the traditions of interactive storytelling, drumming, singing, and dancing to life. Lotus can’t wait to see you at this exciting event.
