May is Mental Health Month.
It’s time to discuss the “elephant in the community” and that is our kids dying every day from substance abuse. More than 90 percent of people with a substance problem began smoking, drinking, or using other drugs before age 18.
Join us for a free community screening of Generation Found, produced by filmmakers Greg Williams and Jeff Reilly, a transformative community story about the people of Houston who are fighting to save young people from the leading cause of death of their generation: addiction.
Please plan to join us for a panel discussion and community conversation directly after the film. We will have resources and information available about addiction, treatment, and recovery services in Bloomington.
This film has real world utility for communities struggling with youth addiction.
Doors for this free, unticketed event will open at 5:30 p.m. The screening is 45 minutes, and the entire event is expected to last roughly 2.5 hours.
