Reflections of Nature Featuring Jean Dayton, Founder of Lakeside Artglass
05:00 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts
For Gallery Walk, The Venue is pleased to host the first exhibition of mixed media artwork by Jean Dayton, founder of Lakeside Artglass.
Entitled Reflections of Nature, Jean demonstrates her talents in the medium of hand-broken shards of glass, combined with natural found materials like creek rock, sea shells and more. Jean creates whimsical yet representational narratives, letting the form of the broken glass guide her artistic vision. She finalizes her work in resin, creating a level of finishes that is both vivid and attractive.
This will also be an excellent opportunity to experience a fresh display of photographs from Kriste Lindberg, Water in All Forms. This collection of photographs has been inspired and captured by Kriste’s personal and professional experiences with nature.
Join us Friday October 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for gourmet refreshments, live entertainment and a new exhibition of artwork never before seen in our community!

Working Class Heroes
07:30 pm
Brown County Playhouse
http://www.browncountyplayhouse.org
Rebellion, freedom, love, innovation and independence: these qualities define the American dream as well as the American brand of Rock and Roll. This concert experience includes many of the great rockers who gave a voice to those shared working class values from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Artists like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Seger define that unique American expression. These artists cut through the pop culture din and gave us music that was raw and powerful and spoke to the heart of America — and they did it in blue jeans. “Born in the USA”, “Free Fallin”, “Pink Houses”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Old Time Rock and Roll” are just a few of the great American hits you’ll hear.
With world class talent, One Pulse’s concerts pay homage to the greatest cultural icons of the 20th and 21st century. Based in Bloomington Indiana, One Pulse is a nationally touring entertainment company that focuses on providing the best talent for any event: theaters, festivals, corporate events, and private functions. Where there is a stage, One Pulse Entertainment will make the music of the past and present come alive in every performance.

08:00 pm to 11:00 pm
The Players Pub
Grounded in soul, the Charles Walker Band has been compared to Prince, Bruno Mars, The Brand New Heavys, and James Brown. The Milwaukee based band has refined its sound into Neo-Funk, a fusion of funk infused rhythms with pop melodies.
Marvin Leroy & The Gold Marquees play funk, soul, and blues dance tunes, from classic hits to forgotten nuggets, with a little low down, dirty blues thrown in the mix.
