In this family-oriented story, a ghost, a black cat, and a werewolf are in for a delightful surprise on Halloween! Check out Cardinal Stage’s newest Cardinal at Home play, “Genie in a Pumpkin,” perfect for all ages!

Cardinal is commissioning playwrights from all over the country to create a series of short plays that you can perform with your family and friends in the safety and comfort of your own home. Do a kitchen table reading just for fun or go show off your acting chops and make a video of your performance!

WonderLab Dive Deeper for All Ages – Water Pollution

Join us this week as we investigate water pollution sources and strategies people are taking around the world to clean up pollution. We will even clean our own water by creating our own water filters. You will need 3 disposable cups, something to poke a hole in them with, a big container of water, sand, gravel, dirt, aluminum foil, coffee filters, and napkins. This program will cover 1st and 4th grade Earth and Atmospheric science standards. All welcome. Activities designed for all ages.

Join the Grunwald Gallery on Friday, October 9th at 5pm for a virtual artist’s talk with Susannah Sayler and Edward Morris, exhibiting artists in “State of Nature: Picturing Indiana Biodiversity”. They will be discussing their 2014 piece, “Eclipse”, which commemorates the extinction of the passenger pigeon. Register for this talk here:

Susannah Sayler and Edward Morris (Sayler/Morris) work with photography, video, writing, and installation to examine our changing notions of nature, culture, and ecology. Their work is often place-based and focused on historical research. In 2006 they co-founded The Canary Project – a studio that produces visual media and artworks that deepen public understanding of climate change and other ecological issues.
