October is a month of chemistry, the study of the properties and interactions of matter, at WonderLab! Join museum educators as we learn more about density. We will be using our knowledge of density to stack layers of liquids without them mixing! STEM skills explored include observing & predicting, comparing & contrasting, defining & solving problems, and exploring cause & effect. Science Standards addressed include NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) Physical Science: Matter and Its Interactions and Indiana Physical Science Science Standards.STEM sills include practicing the scientific method and deductive reasoning. All welcome. Activities designed for Grades 1-6.
