Cardinal’s Theatrical Teaching Workshop series begins its second year with an online session on September 11, 2021. Community building is out theme! The workshop will share a variety of fun and engaging theatre-based activities designed to help develop your classroom community. Free for all educators, professional growth points available.

Cardinal Stage invites educators to participate in a 90 minute online workshop that will share theatre arts moves and activities designed to develop a positive learning community. The Theatrical Teaching series is for educators from all disciplines and all ages. You will learn activities that will excite, engage and motivate students. The process of sharing the stage, listening to your group members and adding to the collective outcome is critical to a healthy learning environment. Join with fellow educators in a fun, high energy session that will inform and engage. You will come away with great ideas that you can share with your students right away.

Cardinal Stage presents “Every Brilliant Thing,” starring Diane Kondrat, at the McCormick’s Creek State Park Amphitheater, September 5 – 12, 2021.

In Every Brilliant Thing, a young girl attempts to ease her mother’s depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Beloved Cardinal veteran Diane Kondrat will capture your heart with this moving, humorous story which reminds us all of the wonderful and weird things that make life worth living.
