Have you ever considered the different properties of liquids? Join WonderLab educators when we do so in a beautiful and exciting way by making simple homemade lava lamps. Explore density, buoyancy, and kinetic art. This is an activity appropriate for all elementary ages that connects to an understanding of matter and its properties. STEM skills include making predictions & observations, making inferences & evaluating evidence, and comparing and contrasting. Science Standards addressed include NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) Physical Science: Matter and Its Interactions and Indiana Physical Science Science Standards: Physical Properties.
