Janine Giordano Drake presents her research on the Hoosier suffragists that supported concerns on labor, temperance, and the rights of women to lead churches. Illuminating the resiliency of the suffrage movement and its tensions along the lines of class and race, Drake shares the stories of working-class women in honor of the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial.
