Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington is delighted that Gen Kelsang Demo, American Ordained Kadampa nun and US Midwest National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition has accepted our invitation to come to Bloomington to teach this timely topic for this special Friday Night Lecture.
How does one cope with the conflict, uncertainty and instability of our chaotic modern world without becoming jaded or living in a constant state of anxiety? In this special talk, we will explore practical methods for transforming conflict and adversity from the point of view of Buddhist philosophy, psychology, and meditative practice. This lecture is suitable for all levels of experience and is open to everyone. After the lecture, there will be light refreshments and an opportunity for questions and further discussion.
